NANO Filter Project Lyra Africa brings safe drinking water whrough Nano Filter Project

Lyra Africa is proud to announce the successful implementation of our Nano Filter Project, a Tanzanian invention, bringing clean and safe drinking water to 11 rural schools across Africa.

As part of this initiative, we have installed 20 nano-filtration systems in rural schools, providing students and staff with reliable access to safe drinking water. Beyond the installations, we have also trained 40 students to operate, maintain, and promote the proper use of the filtration systems. These student ambassadors play a vital role in ensuring the long-term sustainability of the project while encouraging healthy water, sanitation, and hygiene practices within their schools.

Access to clean water is essential for good health, regular school attendance, and improved learning outcomes. By investing in both infrastructure and education, the Nano Filter Project is creating healthier learning environments and empowering young people to become leaders in their communities.

At Lyra Africa, we remain committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that improve lives and support resilient communities. Another 10 rural schools will have access to clean drinking water this year. Together,with schools and donors, we are building a future where every child has access to safe drinking water.
